Kakobuy Order Costs: Build Your Budget in Stages
Build your Kakobuy budget in stages, starting with the products and finishing with the parcel you intend to send. Keep item costs, domestic delivery, chosen packing services and international delivery on separate lines. That makes it easier to decide what to buy now and which costs still need an actual amount.
Kakobuy’s purchasing guidance separates payment for goods and domestic postage from the later international parcel stage. Use that distinction when you plan the order, rather than treating the number beside a product photo as the complete cost of receiving it.
A real item subtotal—and the rest of the budget
Consider shoe find 5747 at ¥50 and shoe find 4227 at ¥110, the listing amounts saved on 29 September 2026. One of each gives a historical product-only subtotal of ¥160. That calculation uses two real displayed amounts; it is not a checkout quote for selected variants or a delivered price.
| Budget line | What belongs here | How to fill it in |
|---|---|---|
| Products | The exact selected items and quantities | Use the current amount for each complete selection |
| Domestic delivery | The delivery amount shown for getting the purchase to the warehouse | Copy the applicable order amount, keeping it separate from the goods |
| Chosen parcel services | Any packing or other optional service you select and are charged for | Add the displayed charge when you approve that choice |
| International delivery | The route amount for the parcel, destination and service you choose | Use the quote based on the parcel information requested at that stage |
| Other displayed charges | Any separately stated payment, clearance or related charge applicable to your order | Check what is included already before adding another line |
Keep an unquoted line open rather than filling it with a convenient zero. The ¥160 example answers only the first question: what those two saved listing amounts add up to. Your next job is to select the actual options and obtain the remaining amounts for the order you want.
At purchase: get the product part right
Write one line for each selected product, including its complete option text and quantity. On 4227 that means a colour/style choice and a numeric size choice; on 5747 it means the full size label and the additional option. If one of those choices changes, check the product amount again before updating the subtotal.
Then add the domestic delivery shown for the purchase. Read any other item-stage charge where it is presented instead of adding a fee from another shopper’s example. Keep the original currency visible; an approximate converted display and the amount used when paying are different entries to compare.
If the product amount itself is the problem, use the selected-item price guide. This budget should carry forward the amount for the item you actually chose, not resolve a different listing or an unexplained style option by guesswork.
At the warehouse: turn the item list into a parcel plan
Before choosing international delivery, decide which items are going together and what packing instructions you want. Kakobuy’s guidance describes parcel choices such as packing removal and reinforcement. Read the available choices for your parcel and add a service charge only when it is shown for a service you select.
Keep the parcel contents and destination beside the delivery comparison. The official purchasing steps identify estimated weight, shipping method and shipping area as cost inputs. If the route asks for further parcel measurements, use the values supplied for the intended package rather than deriving them from a product photo.
When you add another item, remove a box or choose another route, revisit the parcel lines. Leave the product subtotal alone unless the product order also changed. This makes the reason for a budget change visible.
Before payment: reconcile the lines once
For every amount, note what it covers and whether it is an estimate, an amount awaiting payment or an amount already paid. Replace an earlier estimate with its confirmed amount; do not count both as two separate costs. If a total already includes a component, keep the component as a note rather than adding it again.
Apply a discount only to the eligible charge it reduces. Keep its actual deduction on that line so a shipping offer does not appear to lower the price of the shoes themselves. Use the coupon and offers guide to compare the permitted choices.
Finally, ask whether the complete plan still fits your budget. If it does not, change the purchase or parcel choice you can still change instead of relying on an unquoted saving. A clear set of amounts gives you a useful decision before the next payment.
