Kakobuy shoe sizing: choose from US, UK and EU labels

Found the shoes you want, but the size menu mixes US, UK and EU numbers? Read the whole option before selecting it. This guide shows you how to compare those labels with a size you know, spot a conflicting choice and ask for the missing detail—using real Air Force 1 and 2002R finds.

There is no single conversion table here that promises to fit every shoe. The useful starting point is the size information for the particular pair you want, followed by any measurements available for that product.

Start with a size reference you can actually compare

Look at the full label on a pair that fits you well. Note the sizing system and, if shown, whether it is a men's or women's size. A remembered “size 8” is less useful than a clear label showing which system that number belongs to.

Then read the product's own size information. If it provides measurements, use the measurement instructions shown there. Do not substitute an outsole length for foot length, or treat a number printed on a box as a measurement of the shoe's inside space.

A shoe that fits in one model is a starting point, not a promise that another model will fit the same. Compare the product-specific information before deciding to size up or down.

Read all the labels in one option

The Air Force 1 find Product 5747 combines several size systems in each choice. One option reads:

(M)US8=UK7=EUR41

That is one selectable option containing multiple labels, not three separate sizes to choose. Read the prefix and every number together. The wording uses EUR; shoppers searching for EU sizes will often be looking for this part of the label.

Here are three examples from that same find:

Complete optionHow to use it
(M)US8=UK7=EUR41Compare the full option with the product's size information and your reference pair.
(M)US9.5=UK8.5=EUR43Keep the half-size and sizing system when asking about this choice.
(M)US10.5=U9.5=EUR44.5Ask about the unclear U9.5 text; do not silently change it to another label.

These are examples of this product's menu, not a universal Kakobuy shoe size chart. The final row retains U9.5 exactly as shown because its meaning has not been clarified.

What if two options both say UK6?

Product 5747 includes both of these choices:

  • (M)US6.5=UK6=EUR39
  • (M)US7=UK6=EUR40

If you normally choose UK6, the UK part alone does not distinguish them. The US and EUR numbers differ. Picking the first matching UK6 would leave the conflict unresolved.

Compare the complete labels with any size chart or measurements provided for that exact product. If they still conflict, send both options in your question: “These two choices both show UK6, but one says EUR39 and the other EUR40. Which option matches the size I need?” Include the size system you are using rather than asking only whether the shoe is “true to size”.

Do not correct one row from memory. The next useful step is a product-specific answer, not a tidier-looking table.

Bare numbers and missing sizes need a different check

The 2002R find numbered 4457 uses numeric choices such as 37.5, 39.5 and 41.5 without the combined US/UK/EUR wording above. Read the listing's size explanation before assigning those numbers to a system.

Its choices are not a continuous sequence. For example, seeing 38.5 and 39.5 does not give you a selectable 39 between them. If your intended size is absent, ask whether that exact size can be requested. Do not choose the nearest number merely to continue.

What you seeWhat to clarify
A number with no system beside itWhich size system the product uses.
Two combined labels that conflictWhich complete choice corresponds to your intended size.
A range with a request for a noteHow to provide the exact size within that range.
Your size missing from the choicesWhether the exact size can be requested for that product.

For a range or a “Leave size notes” instruction, use the size-note guide. That is a different problem from converting between size systems: the listing may need your exact request separately from the menu choice.

Keep the exact size choice through to the order

Once the option is clear, carry its full wording into your purchase selection. Match it again on the page where you place the order. A size shown in a discovery listing is not confirmation of current stock or acceptance of a particular request.

When your order's warehouse photos become available, use a readable label photo to compare the received item with the size you selected. If the fit question needs a measurement rather than a label, ask whether that measurement can be provided. The QC guide shows how to request a useful view.
