A find becomes useful when it retains enough context to be checked: category, visible variant, source URL and the reason it entered the shortlist. A name or thumbnail alone is not enough.
Open a small number of relevant routes instead of collecting dozens of tabs. Remove options whose source has changed or whose details cannot be compared on the same basis.
Source Link Verification
Keep the exact source URL, selected variant and date checked together. Product paths, seller pages and availability can change, so a saved label without its destination quickly loses value.
Before continuing, confirm that the destination still matches the recorded product and variant. Recheck current price, availability, seller information and applicable terms at that source.
QC Photos
Where QC references are available, use them to inspect visible color, shape, labels, stitching, surface finish and obvious defects. Check whether the angle and lighting actually show the detail you care about.
A photo cannot confirm material composition, long-term durability, authenticity or an unseen area. If a key measurement or surface is missing, record the question rather than treating the image set as complete proof.
Explain what a spreadsheet can and cannot verify
The spreadsheet can organize discovery routes, categories, source links and shopping notes. It cannot verify authenticity, seller reliability, live inventory, current price or the condition of a later item.
Keep those limits visible near the discovery content. Users should reopen the original product source and independently confirm any detail that affects a transaction.
Link freshness and last-checked methodology
A useful maintenance record stores the exact destination, the date checked and the result: matched, redirected, replaced, unavailable or unclear.
This does not promise that a link remains current after the check. It tells the next researcher what was observed and where a new verification should begin.
